Applying for a U.S. visa | the Nazi question

I was just applying for a visa into the American homeland, when i came upon this curious question [translation below]:

It reads: "Were you ever or are you currently involved in acts of espionage or sabotage, in terrorist activities, in genocide, or were you in any way involved in persecutions perpetrated by the Nazi regime or their allies?"

Do they ask because i'm German?

oh no!, here, they use something about drugs, gangs... also they asked about "guerrilla" just because we were on war 20 years ago.
They also ask about "trafficking people", or "inmigration"... just because we are a 3rd world country...
Prejudices!!!

YES! if they can analyze my data for my nationality, they can also see that i was born in 1987 and there is NO way i could have anything to do with genocide between 1933 and 1945!

This question exists on international flights from Europe to the US. I've seen it many, many times. I've flown across the Atlantic over 20 times and have seen it each time. I wonder how long before it goes out of print.

They pretty much ask the same for all the visitors/tourists, just make sure you have your documents/invitations ready , that should do the job.
